Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 19, 2026

Welcome to CreatorFree! We are a platform that helps connect sponsors with the independent creators they love and want to support. “CreatorFree,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to CreatorFree and the services we offer, including creator-free.com and any associated apps or APIs. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information about you. We keep it plain and honest — no legalese walls if we can help it.

Information you provide to us

The information we ask for depends on how you use the platform. When you create an account, subscribe to a creator, make a purchase, or become a creator yourself, we typically collect some combination of the following:

You may also choose to add more information to your public profile, such as a location, social media links, and an about section. We store that alongside everything else we collect.

Sponsors

A sponsor is someone who subscribes to and/or makes a purchase on CreatorFree, which may come with special benefits from the creators they support. As a sponsor, you provide your payment information directly to our payment partners. You can review the privacy policies of those partners — including PayPal and Stripe — on their respective websites. CreatorFree stores only what is necessary to process and record your transactions. If you pay through a partner like PayPal that requires your name and email address, that partner may share that information with us.

We collect and process information about the creators you subscribe to and support, the memberships and other offerings you purchase, and what benefits you receive.

Creators

A creator is someone who produces content and engages with the sponsors who support their work. To become a creator, you apply for a page that describes what you create and any benefits you offer your supporters. If you receive payouts through a payment partner like PayPal, that partner may share your information with us. Depending on your location and the nature of your content, we may also need some combination of the following:

Information we collect automatically

We automatically receive certain information when you interact with CreatorFree, even if you have not created an account. These are the standard ways websites operate — they are not unique to us and are common to virtually every site on the internet. This information may include:

Messages and comments

When you send or receive messages, or when you post or are mentioned in comments on CreatorFree, we collect the contents of those messages and comments, as well as related activity including timestamps and who has viewed them.

Discord

We may use Discord in the future to host a community chat platform for creators and sponsors. If and when we do, connecting your Discord account to your CreatorFree account would share your Discord username and associated information with us. We would collect information including the time you joined and left the server, your profile information, user roles, channels you join, and messages you send. We will update this policy before any Discord integration goes live.

Research, surveys, and events

From time to time we may invite you to participate in research studies, surveys, or events related to CreatorFree. Participation is always optional. If you choose to participate, we may observe how you use the platform, record sessions with your consent, and collect your survey responses including optional demographic information. We use this data to improve the platform and better understand and serve our community.

Blog and education content

If you interact with our blog or creator education resources, we may collect your email address, comments, and profile information.

Information from third-party accounts

After creating a CreatorFree account, you may be able to connect your social media accounts (such as YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, or Twitch). When you do, we may collect and store some information from those accounts, including your profile information, follower and subscriber counts, and post and view counts. You can revoke our access at any time through the security settings of the relevant third-party platform.

Third-party social and chat features

We may use social media features and widgets on the platform. These features may collect your IP address and other information, and may set or read cookies. The following links lead to the privacy policies of the services we may use:

How we use your information

Information shared with creators

By subscribing to or purchasing from a creator on CreatorFree, you agree to share certain personal data with that creator, including:

When you message another user directly, the contents of that message are shared with the recipients you select. Creators may use third-party services as part of delivering their membership benefits.

Information shared publicly

The following information may be publicly accessible:

Information shared with third parties

We do not sell your information to third parties. Ever. Other than information shared with creators or shared publicly as described above, we only share data with third parties in the following circumstances:

Do Not Track signals

Your browser may be configured to send a “Do Not Track” signal to websites you visit. There is currently no industry-standard definition of what this signal requires websites to do. We endeavor to respect your privacy preferences to the best of our ability, and we will update our practices if a clear standard is established.

Complaints

We take your privacy seriously and are committed to resolving any concerns. If you believe your privacy rights have been infringed, please reach out to us at privacy@creator-free.com. You may also have the right to contact the appropriate data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

Authorized agents

You may designate an authorized agent to make a privacy request on your behalf. To do so, please provide a valid power of attorney along with government-issued ID for both yourself and the agent. Contact us to start that process. To protect against unauthorized account access, we may decline certain requests at our discretion.

How long we keep your data

We store your personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services, or until you ask us to delete it. We may retain some information after account deletion if required to do so by applicable law.

Security

The security of your personal data matters to us. We follow industry-standard practices to protect it, and we are always working to improve.

Children

CreatorFree is not directed at children. You may not use CreatorFree if you are under the age of 13, and you must be old enough under the laws of your country to consent to the processing of your personal data (in many countries a parent or legal guardian may consent on your behalf). You must be at least 13 years old and/or have your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to create a creator page or sponsor a creator on CreatorFree.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a change we consider significant, we will let you know before it takes effect. Continuing to use CreatorFree after a change means you accept the updated policy. Questions? Email us at privacy@creator-free.com.
